What Are Your Favorite Note-Taking Apps?
The Internet and the subsequent rise in popularity of smartphones and cloud storage have revolutionized the note-taking process. It’s now easier than ever to save your thoughts (since we almost always have a connected device close at hand), access them from many other devices, and share them with people who need to know what you’re planning. Instead of losing grocery lists or sudden sparks of creative genius, you jot down on a sticker and no longer find your critical thoughts and to-do lists that can be safely stored in the cloud.
There are many applications that can improve your note-taking process. I still jot things down with a pen in a notepad, but I’ll use Google Keep and even the Sticky Notes app on Windows 10 to control my thoughts. (I find syncing between the devices of both apps helps a lot.)
In a quest to find the best, most effective and convenient note taking strategy, we’d love to hear about your most used note taking apps . Are you an Evernote evangelist? An avid OneNote user? You may have stuck with the field-proven simplicity of Notepad over the years. Whatever you choose, let us know in the comments below.
I’ll follow your responses – perhaps even with notes – and collect various guidelines to compose an overview of the best note-taking apps available.
