Take Advantage of Free Chromebook Offers Before They Expire

I don’t have a new Chromebook but would love to; not because my laptop needs to be updated (which is fine), but because then I can take advantage of even more free offers from Google that my current Chromebook is too old to use.
If you’ve bought a Chromebook at any point in the past 180 days – in fact, if it’s less than 180 days since you first set up a Google Account on your Chromebook – then you’ll definitely want to quickly head over to the Chromebook offers page . to see all the latest offers you can win. As Android Police points out, there are two apps you can get for free right now at a low price:
- Enlight Pixaloop (photo animation app; lifetime free subscription)
- Noteshelf ( note-taking app, usually $ 10)
Plus, you can get 50% off INKredible Pro ( down to $ 3.99) and Concepts Essentials (down to $ 4.99), as well as a free six-month Squid Premium subscription ($ 6) …
As always, Google is offering 100GB of free storage on Google One to new Chromebook owners, but this is a limited offer: you will receive one year of free storage, after which a paid 100GB subscription to Google One will begin unless you cancel. ($ 2 a month). If you do, and you’ve filled up your storage, you won’t be able to add anything else until you delete some of your data to revert back to the free 15GB everyone gets. So while this is a “deal”, it is also a kind of hook to tie you to the Google subscription offer – don’t forget.
Since this is a Lifehacker, I’ll also suggest another idea: if you remember when you first set up your Chromebook (or don’t mind taking a minute to find out when you bought it or received it in the mail), set the calendar event to 179 days from when that day was.
Until then, make yourself a monthly reminder so you can check the Chromebook offers page to see if there’s anything new to grab. (I do the same with the biweekly free giveaways on the Epic Store, and saving that sweet money is worth a minute or two of my life, which I will never get back.)
