How to Watch Today’s Presidential Debate From Democrats
With three debates going on, it’s clearer than ever which Democratic candidate has a real shot at running for president. And today’s debate in Ohio is likely to be another tipping point for most of these presidential candidates, including those who are still trying to make a splash.
Today’s debate, co-hosted by CNN and the New York Times , will feature 12 Democratic candidates: Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Corey Booker, Julian Castro, Tulsi Gabbard, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer … , Elizabeth Warren and Andrew Young.
To qualify, candidates must receive at least two percent support in four surveys and collect donations from at least 130,000 donors. (Steyer and Gabbard – the only candidates that have not been qualified for the September debate, but Qualified tonight.)
Most likely, the issues of arms control, climate change and, of course, impeachment procedures will become important topics in the debate.
