The Weirdest Subreddits According to Reddit
Someone asked Reddit to list “REALLY weird subreddits.” They did. They also listed many cute but not really weird subreddits. I have collected some really weird ones as well as some cute ones. NSFW subreddits are marked as such.
Many of these subreddits were small or abandoned prior to this Reddit thread, but they’ve been brought to life with fresh new reddit editors and you can soak up some sweet new content.
Really strange
- Fedlegs (NSFW, for photos of sexy women): Photos of women with bare legs, but their legs are yellow. In a post that should explain this subreddit, the moderator says, “A few years ago, I had a strange recurring science fiction dream in which girls showing their legs made them yellow with permanent paint.” I’m not sure what level of irony or fiction this subreddit is operating on, and it might be the most confusing subreddit on this list.
- BreadStapledToTrees : literally like that. Photos of bread attached to trees. New photos appear every day. Sometimes there are variations, such as how the crucifixion of Jesus is technically considered if you believe in transubstantiation.

- Gregfuckedarock (NSFWish for implied sex): Memes about getting horny over rocks. There is some Steven Universe motive and I don’t give a damn why.
- DeepIntoYouTube : Weird YouTube Trash Videos.
- Lithuaniaiakittens : A meme subreddit that is sometimes weird enough to be funny.
- Ooer : I AM NOT GOOD WITH THE COMPUTER

- Problems of the fourth world , problems of the fifth world , problems of the sixth world , problems of the seventh world , problems of the zero world : all parodies of the problems of the First world . - SubredditSimulator : Bots try to mimic real Reddit posts. There is another subreddit with a more advanced algorithm . Both reach a linguistic supernatural valley that will make you worry that you are losing your mind.
- BetterHoagieDown : There is only one post here. The story, if true, would be tragic and disturbing. But is it true?
- longfurbies : Furbies transformed into snakes, sandworms from Dune .
- FearMe (NSFW for horror): Outright frustrating (but usually not bloody) horror imagery.
- honeyfuckers (NSFW for porn): For people who want to hit a bee or want to joke about how it will hit a bee.
- upvoteexeggutor : More fun than weird, honestly, but you deserve a break from the horrors above. This is the only subreddit I’ve seen where all the post images are combined into one long image: Exeggutor , a palm tree Pokemon .
Not strange, but good
- picturesofiansleeping : Jan’s roommate uploaded his sleeping photos. I might find it odd one day, but I’m on the other side of all these truly quirky subreddits, and honestly, I find this cozy and cute.
- WtWFotMJaJtRAtCaB : “When water flows through the milk carafe at right angles,forming a bubble.” Not weird, but relaxing.
- VXJunkies : Every hobbyist knows the pleasure of individually flitexing your first VX and the frustration of hemoglobin that makes SATDOS turn into slippage!
- HaveWeMet : Of course we met! We are old friends, [username is here]! How is your family?
- grandpajoehate : These people really hate Grandpa Joe from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory .
- IsEricWearingShorts : This subreddit tracks whether a guy named Eric wears shorts or pants every day. From the sidebar, this subreddit has two internal factions, but not the ones you guessed.
- Former PizzaHuts : It’s pretty easy to spot when the business takes over the old Pizza Hut. What’s with the roof and all that.
