Try IPhone 11 Deep Fusion Camera in Latest IOS Beta

When it comes out, the upcoming iOS 13.2 update will bring Apple’s Deep Fusion camera feature to the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. However, you can access this feature right now by downloading the iOS 13.2 beta .

Deep Fusion is an AI camera feature exclusive to the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro that takes multiple shots at different exposures. Your camera then intelligently merges them together, producing sharper, more vibrant photos without requiring users to tinker with settings, enable special modes, or apply post-processing filters.

To get Deep Fusion early, you need to participate in the iOS beta program by opening this site in Safari on your device and setting up a public beta profile. After installing it, you can either wait for your device to receive the update, or go to Settings> General> Software Update to manually download and install it.

Although Deep Fusion is automatically installed as part of the iOS 13.2 update, some users may be confused about how to use it as the iOS camera app does not have icons, switches in system settings, or notification area alerts to indicate its presence. … …

The only way to know if you have Deep Fusion on your device is to take photos. At least that is what some early reports state, and it is unlikely that this will change for a public release.

It might sound counterintuitive, but Apple expects the iPhone 11 to do all the work for you. Unlike having to turn on, say, Night Mode on a Pixel device , the iPhone 11’s camera AI just knows when to use the new Deep Fusion Night Mode and Smart HDR photo settings automatically.

I’m curious how users will feel about not having direct control over Deep Fusion features – especially those who prefer to tweak their camera settings on the fly – but Apple seems confident in its decision. Feel free to share your experience in the comments if you download the iOS 13.2 beta and try out the new camera features yourself.
