Visit Any National Park for Free This Veterans Day

This coming Monday, November 11, over 400 National Park Service sites will be offering free admission to commemorate Veterans Day and as one of five days of free admission each year; This includes free admission to parks such as Yosemite, Zion and the Grand Canyon National Parks.

Although admission to some parks is already free, you can expect to pay per person or vehicle (and sometimes both) to enter many other national parks. For example, entry to Yellowstone National Park costs $ 20 per person and $ 35 for parking, so if you don’t have vacation plans yet, it’s time.

To see a complete list of participating parks, you can visit the National Park Service website or use their finder locator to find a park near you if you’re not sure where to start; you can search by status, activity and interest. Their website also has important planning tips on how to minimize your environmental impact. (And in case you need it, h ERE like National Parks Instagram without Dick.)
