Tell Your Kids About the World With This Animated Series
If your child has a wide range of interests and short attention span , he will probably enjoy Triviatopia , a series of educational YouTube animated videos about everything from science, history and art to technology and the environment.
Each video is just over two minutes long and features six bizarre characters who travel back and forth in time and across the globe on a wide variety of adventures. The series, created and produced by Etermax , includes several episodes on topics that interest children, including dinosaurs , ocean life , sports and robots . But they are also a great way for parents to talk about larger hot topics such asrecycling and the climate crisis :
The description of this episode is as follows: “Global warming is causing Tito to experience bad weather, and Hector is determined to find a solution. The team continues to search for clean energy sources to reduce their carbon footprint. ” Tito is, of course, a ball-shaped character who wears rainbow-colored headphones.
I suppose this show will be especially good for kids ages 4-7, but my 9-year-old laughed at jokes in the episode about the origins of football , so obviously older kids can appreciate them too.
New Triviatopia series airs every Thursday on YouTube and YouTube Kids .
