Take Advantage of the Timing Change to Start Exercising Earlier

I am reluctant to exercise in the morning. I hate waking up at 6, but my day is better when I start my workout early. So this week is a very special week for people like me (and commentator Sailor Jupiter , who thinks like me). The change of time gave us an extra morning hour. Waking up, the hardest task of the day, just got a little easier.

Maybe you enjoyed an extra hour after getting enough sleep this morning. Okay, great. But before your body gets too used to the shift, try setting your alarm an hour earlier. If that’s too much, compromise and do it for half an hour. You won’t feel like getting up early, but the clock has changed , so in reality you are kind of like that.

If you don’t work out in the morning yet, but always wanted it to be possible, now is your chance. Or, if, like me, you are reluctant to do so, set your alarm early enough to give yourself a little more time. There is something luxurious about taking your time in the gym when you usually have to put the last few exercises together and rush to work. Or perhaps you want to use this time to add an extra element to your morning routine, such as some diary time or scrambled eggs . In any case, this gift comes only once a year. Use it wisely.
