What Are the Best and Worst Quests in Your City?
Some quests are great at Disneyland; others are basically a dirty studio apartment with everything glued on. And some of them are much more interesting to solve than others . Which quests are the best in your area and which are the worst?
Last year, I spoke with the designers of one of the most popular escape games in the US, The Escape Game network of 14 cities. Their rooms are highly stylized and themed and thoroughly tested. On the other hand, I was on a dirty quest in New York that could be mistaken for the first lease of a 21 year old. When I removed the pillows from the sofa looking for evidence, all I found were crumbs and dust. (But the room had a clever sign on the opposite side of the street.)
