What’s in Store for and Out of Netflix in the Week of November 4th, 2019

Depending on your appetite for holiday food from the recent harvest and your overall enthusiasm for the “finest time of the year,” this is either a great week of Netflix offerings or an imperceptible amount of shit. You will not be surprised that I am in the last camp – if this is not the frame-by-frame Rudolph of 1964 *, I will gladly hibernate on holiday favorites until spring.

But you Christmas fools, now is your time, so get ready for your holiday engagement, Christmas love, and Dear Santa on Monday. Past members bake “sweet Christmas treats” at The Great British Baking Show: Holidays: Season 2 on Friday, and I refuse to watch the trailer for what looks like a focus group for the hilarious comedy ” Goodbye Teen” Let It Snow with Don Draper’s Daughter starring will also arrive on Friday. Is thePatriotic Act” with Hassan Minhadem good? The fifth season starts on Sunday. In fact, I think you should do what everyone you know is doing: find a way to see the Parasite . Don’t watch the trailer, don’t read the reviews, just watch. You might wonder why you spend so much time without enthusiasm watching bad Netflix, or how some people I know who have no problem at all, overeat 48 hours .

* Actually I was just trying to watch the trailer for Rudolph and it was so boring I couldn’t finish. There is an honest trailer for Rudolph and even that is shelving. What is all this touching content? Give me the caustic, misanthropic doomsday scripts! Give me … Greatest WWII Events in HD Color (Friday)? What?!
