This is a 4K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 and HDR10+ support. OLED means each pixel is individually illuminated, so blacks appear truly black, and bright highlights stand out without washing out the rest of the screen. PCMag gave it an “Excellent” rating , praising its outstanding color reproduction and contrast. Samsung has also increased brightness compared to many OLED panels, which helps in rooms that aren’t completely dark. It’s hard to fault it for gaming. All four HDMI ports support 4K at 120Hz, and it can handle variable refresh rates up to 144Hz from a compatible PC. Input lag in Game Mode is less than one millisecond, so control feels snappy. However, there’s no official support for AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync.

What do you think at the moment?

The TV runs on Samsung’s Tizen smart platform, which includes key streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and Apple TV. You can stream content from an iPhone or iPad via AirPlay, and it also supports cloud gaming services like Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia GeForce Now if you connect a controller via Bluetooth. One drawback is that Tizen feels a bit cluttered. Basic picture controls are located deeper in the menu than necessary, and switching inputs requires several extra taps. While it works fine after getting used to, it’s not the most intuitive system. There’s also no Dolby Vision support, and the TV lacks an ATSC 3.0 tuner for next-generation over-the-air broadcasts. Furthermore, its wireless connectivity is limited to Wi-Fi 5 instead of the newer Wi-Fi 6 or 6E standards.
