It’s time to update your Apple devices again. The company has released a raft of security patches, including a fix for a widely exploited zero-day vulnerability affecting iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe. These updates arrive alongside the official release of iOS 26.3 , which includes features such as smoother data transfer between iPhone and Android. Other security patches address bugs in the Photos, VoiceOver, and Screenshots apps, to name a few.
iOS 26.3 fixes a zero-day vulnerability affecting dyld.
According to Apple’slatest security bulletin , a zero-day vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2026-20700, is a memory corruption issue in dyld, Apple’s “dynamic link editor.” This vulnerability could allow attackers with memory write access to execute arbitrary code—or, in other words, run their own code on your device.
Apple states that the vulnerability could have been used in a “highly sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals” in earlier versions of iOS, along with CVE-2025-14174 and CVE-2025-43529. High-profile users with access to sensitive data—users who may be prone to exploiting Apple’s lockdown mode —are most at risk, but everyone should install the update to fix the issue.
