The Meta Quest 3S “Batman: Arkham Shadow” Set Is on Sale.
Meta has made virtual reality (VR) accessible to many more people by offering high-quality VR headsets at much lower prices than the competition. Right now, the Meta Quest 3S Batman: Arkham Shadow bundle with 128GB of storage is selling for $249 (originally $299.99), its lowest price ever, according to price tracking tools . You can double the storage for $375.91 (originally $399.99); this version previously cost $350. The bundle includes the Batman game (regularly $49.99) and a three-month trial of Meta Horizon+, which normally costs $7.99 per month.
The Meta Quest 3 does have better graphics, but it’s significantly more expensive (currently $499.99) than the 3S version. The Meta Quest 3S headphones feature a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, a display resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels (per eye), and a 120Hz refresh rate. Once worn, the horizontal field of view is 96 degrees and the vertical field of view is 90 degrees. Stereo sound is very convenient, and the speakers support 3D spatial audio. As for battery life, you can expect up to two and a half hours of use before needing to recharge (a full charge takes about two hours). I recently purchased these headphones and have to say I’ve never experienced anything so immersive (this was my first time using a VR headset).
