I Love My TCL QLED TV, and You Can Get This Massive 98-Inch TV for $800 Off Right Now.

In my opinion , TCL makes some of the best QLED TVs money can buy. While there are many differences between QLED and more expensive OLED TVs , they’re difficult to spot without a trained eye, meaning the savings are worth it for most people—especially if the QLED TV in question is on sale for $800.

If you’re looking to buy a huge TV without breaking the bank, consider the TCL QM6K QLED, which is currently on sale on Amazon for $1,499.99 for the 98-inch model , down from its original price of $2,299.99. This is the lowest price it’s ever reached, according to price tracking tools . While I don’t own this giant TV myself, I’ve been enjoying the 65-inch QM6K for almost a year now and am still impressed with the picture quality, especially considering the price.

TCL’s QM series offers excellent value for money, regardless of size. The QM6K features 500 zones of local dimming ( CNET score: 8.6/10 ) and a mini-LED panel for improved contrast. While the picture quality can be adjusted, color accuracy for HDR content is surprisingly good out of the box, making it ideal for those who don’t like fiddling with settings.

The QM6K also features a native 144Hz refresh rate; supports HDR formats such as HDR ULTRA with Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG; a Dolby Atmos audio system; an anti-glare screen; four HDMI inputs (one of which is eARC); and Google TV Smart OS (my favorite OS) with built-in Chromecast, making it easy to stream content from your phone to the TV. Also, as noted in the ZDNet review, the TV has Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa built in .

What do you think at the moment?

If you’re a gamer, the QM6K offers even more benefits, as noted in IGN’s 9/10 review . The Game Bar feature allows you to adjust settings on the fly; there’s also a VRR accelerator that doubles the refresh rate to a perceived 288Hz; and it supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, so you can enjoy smooth gaming on your PC or console. That’s a lot for an entry-level QLED TV.
