The Samsung S85F is positioned as Samsung’s entry-level OLED TV, replacing the 2024 S85D and positioned just below the S90F and S95F in the lineup. It lacks the more advanced AI-enabled processor found in higher-end models (which primarily impacts upscaling speed and HDR tone mapping), but you still get Samsung’s 2025 Tizen operating system with all the essentials—a built-in voice assistant, cast support, and a responsive user interface. Connectivity-wise, all four HDMI ports support 4K resolution at 120Hz with variable refresh rate (VRR), making it a worthy option for PS5 and Xbox Series X users. It doesn’t support Dolby Vision HDR, as is typical for Samsung TVs, but it does support HDR10+ , which offers similar dynamic range enhancements.
