My Favorite Amazon Buy of the Day: Samsung ‘The Frame’ TV.

As is typical after CES (Consumer Electronics Show) , prices for older flagship tech products have begun to drop, including TVs . One such example is Samsung’s beloved “The Frame” TV. The 65-inch 2024 model is currently selling for $997.99 (original price was $1,997.99), a more than 50% discount and the lowest price ever, according to price tracking tools .
The largest model, the 85-inch series, is also on sale at a record low, currently priced at $2,374.95 (original price: $4,297.99). The newer Pro version of The Frame , introduced last year, is also discounted: the 65-inch version is priced at $1,099.99 (original price: $1,799.99), but larger sizes of this model are not yet available.
Samsung’s The Frame smart TVs have come a long way since their debut in 2017. Designed for those who want a large TV but don’t want it to dominate their home, they feature a matte, anti-glare finish that gives them the look of a framed work of art—all while maintaining 4K picture quality. As the name suggests, the appeal of this TV is that, thanks to its anti-glare matte display and adjustable frame, it can also serve as a digital picture frame.
If you’re skeptical that a TV can truly look like a work of art, my brother fooled me into believing his 2022 model was a true work of art. The matte screen does a good job of making the TV look like a TV without affecting the viewing experience (it’s great for bright rooms where the screen might otherwise be glare-prone). That version only received an “average” review from PCMag , mainly due to poor contrast and the price. The 2024 version offered noticeable improvements, including a 120Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution with the Quantum 4K Processor. The newest 2025 Pro version also adds wireless connectivity, making it easier to wall-mount without the clutter of wires.
You can purchase frames separately to find the perfect one for your taste—for example, one guy on TikTok designed his frame in a Harry Potter theme .
