CES 2026: You Can Chain 100 of These Ikea Bluetooth Speakers Together.

At CES 2026, Swedish furniture giant Ikea showcased its new Kallsup Bluetooth speaker , which will cost just $10 in the US. I’m usually skeptical of any speaker at that price, but the Kallsup caught my attention for several reasons, chief among them, according to Ikea, the ability to link up to 100 of these speakers together to create the perfect multi-channel speaker system. Furthermore, the hardware seems fairly simple: the speaker has a USB-C port on the back and two buttons on the top (play/pause and pairing).
Pairing Bluetooth speakers together is nothing new, but this is the first time I’ve seen the ability to chain up to 100 devices. The only reason this use case seems even remotely plausible is the price: The Verge reports that the Kallsup Bluetooth speaker will cost $10 in the US and €5 (approximately $6) in Europe, meaning you could buy 10 of these speakers for the same price as a single HomePod mini. The Verge also claims that after pairing one with your phone (the company promises Bluetooth 5.3 support), you can chain more devices using a two-button sequence.
As for the design, the speakers are cube-shaped and multicolored, which I really like (Ikea is currently showing them in white, green, and pink). But how do they sound? According to Gizmodo , while they’re loud, they lack bass. I’d love to get a couple to try them out myself before I commit to stacking dozens of them, but I definitely admire Ikea’s bold move. Still, while CES is a place where unusual ideas attract attention, I’m having a hard time seeing a use for connecting 100 Bluetooth speakers. Maybe if you own an amusement park and want the cheapest audio system for a haunted house? Most people would likely be happy with a more manageable number of speakers scattered around the house.
