Petkit Has Announced Three New Smart Devices for Your Pets.

Petkit just announced three new smart pet products ahead of CES . Although the conference doesn’t begin until Tuesday, the company shared details about its upcoming devices, which are likely to go on sale this spring. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Petkit is advertising all three pet devices as “powered by AI,” and while this has become a common trope for companies since 2023, there are some unique applications—assuming the devices actually do what Petkit claims.
Purobot Crystal Duo Cat Litter Box
Petkit claims the Purobot Crystal Duo is the first open-top cat litter box with artificial intelligence, and that Purobot uses this technology to monitor your cat’s health. The device is equipped with a 720p AI-enabled camera that tracks your cat’s stool and litter box behavior. Purobot analyzes parameters such as stool consistency, urine pH, and vocalizations, all of which are recorded in the Petkit app. If any issues arise, you can report the results to your veterinarian.
Petkit claims that Purobot uses crystal litter to absorb urine and dehydrate waste, helping control odors. The company claims users can wait 30 days before emptying the litter box, which also includes disposable liners. The company plans to launch Purobot in July on both Amazon and the official Petkit website.
Eversweet Ultra Water Dispenser
The new Petkit water dispenser also uses an AI-powered camera to track your pet’s health habits, but this time through their drinking habits. The device comes with a 1080p camera with a 140-degree wide-angle field of view that tracks your pet as they drink, even in the dark. Eversweet supports facial recognition for multiple pets, which theoretically allows you to track the drinking habits of specific animals using the same device.
The dispenser comes with a five-liter reservoir, which Petkit claims provides enough drinking water for two full weeks for one pet. The device detects when the water level is low and refills the reservoir as needed, passing the water through an “antibacterial filter cube” to prevent bacterial growth. Any “used” water is not recirculated through the dispenser but separated out, ensuring pets always have fresh water as long as the reservoir is full.

Petkit says Eversweet Ultra could be available in April, though this is only a rough estimate. It will also be available on both Amazon and the official Petkit website.
Yumshare Daily Feast
Perhaps Petkit’s most significant announcement was the Yumshare Daily Feast automatic wet food feeder. This feeder can dispense fresh food to cats and dogs on a customized schedule, tracking your pet’s eating habits to generate “nutritional information.” This information is partially generated by the feeder’s built-in 1080p AI-powered camera, which provides a wide-angle 140-degree field of view. It also supports facial recognition for multiple pets.
Petkit claims the Yumshare Daily Feast provides up to seven days of fully automated wet food—the key word here is “automated.” The device automatically opens each bag of food, and each serving “preserves its expiration date.” This means that if your pet doesn’t finish their meal, the device will collect the leftovers and disinfect them with ultraviolet light (specifically, UVC) before serving the next one.
Petkit plans to release Yumshare Daily Feast in April, both on Amazon and on the official Petkit website.
As with any new product, we’ll have to wait for reviewers to conduct hands-on testing before deciding whether these devices actually deliver on their promises. However, if Petkit’s products prove to be of sufficient quality, they could offer real benefits to pet owners. A wet food bowl could be very helpful for those who have to leave their cats alone for long periods of time. Purobot and Eversweet can also provide important information about your cat’s health before a veterinary visit: if you notice your cat crying while using the litter box or drinking less water than usual, you can prevent health problems by notifying your veterinarian promptly.
