Peloton Is Having a Big Sale to Celebrate the Start of the New Year.

If you’re serious about sticking to your healthy lifestyle goals throughout the year, I’m warning you: you need a plan—something concrete that will motivate you. Using a Peloton bike and a Peloton app subscription has been incredibly helpful in keeping me in shape over the past year—they’ve allowed me to work out at home, at the gym, or anywhere . You can currently get both (and other equipment, if you’d like) at a discount, so now might be a good time to consider it.
Peloton Equipment Sale
If you visit the Peloton website right now, you’ll see significant discounts on equipment. In fact, the prices are similar to those during Black Friday in November, although not all items are priced at the same. Some, like the Cross-Training Bike, are slightly more expensive, but others, like the Cross-Training Bike+, are even cheaper.

With the purchase of each of these devices, you also get a free month of the Peloton app—the app I use every day. (I even track my workouts outside of the Peloton network through it .) If you just want the app and don’t need the equipment, you can also get a great deal until January 15th: the company is offering new subscribers three months for the price of one . App One costs $12.99, while App+ is $28.99. If you own the equipment, you’ll need the All Access subscription, which costs $50 per month (that’s what you get for a month free when you buy a new exercise bike, treadmill, or rowing machine), but it only allows you to workout using the app and is useful for people who don’t own the brand’s signature equipment.
Note about equipment
If you’re wondering what the words “cross training” mean in the product list above, let me explain. Last fall, Peloton updated its product line with the release of the Cross Training and Cross Training+ series. If you’d like to learn more about what these include, I wrote a guide for you here .
The gist is this: the new Cross Training series received some hardware upgrades, such as an improved bike seat, phone holders, and swiveling touchscreens. The + series includes all of these, plus an AI component that controls a motion-tracking camera designed to assist you in your workouts. The swiveling screens are incredibly convenient, as you can move them to keep the tracking camera pointed at you even when you transition from cycling or rowing to floor exercises.
