The Amazon Echo Show 21 Is Currently $50 Off.

If you’re looking for a small TV that can also double as a tablet and home control center, the Amazon Echo Show 21 is a versatile smart display with built-in Fire TV, a ton of widgets, and other useful features. Larger than the Amazon Echo Show 15, the Amazon Echo Show 21 rarely goes on sale, but it’s currently $50 off at Amazon, its lowest price ever, at $349.99 (original price: $399.99). It’s a great option for Alexa-using families.

The device features a crisp 21-inch screen and, like its predecessor, uses the Fire TV interface and Alexa. The screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Essentially, it’s a larger version of the Echo Show 15 with a larger touchscreen. The Amazon Echo Show 21 features a 13-megapixel camera for video calls and home surveillance, which automatically zooms and adjusts the image, as well as a manual privacy shutter switch. The larger screen provides easier visibility of the home hub and widgets, supports multiple user profiles, and can be toggled using face or voice recognition when the camera and microphone are enabled. It can also be used as a digital photo frame.

Designed primarily for wall mounting, the Echo Show 21 doesn’t come with a stand. While it doesn’t have mechanical rotation like the discontinued Amazon Echo Show 10, you can purchase an optional rotating stand for manual horizontal and vertical adjustments. The included remote allows for non-touch operation of the Fire TV interface, which, as PCMag notes, is bright and clear for video playback, with “reasonably accurate and rich” colors, though its range isn’t comparable to more expensive QLED or OLED displays.

While the Echo Show 21 features the same two-inch woofers and 0.6-inch tweeters as the 15-inch model, delivering loud sound, it lacks the deep bass needed for use as a standalone audiophile speaker. However, if you don’t require ultra-low-frequency power, it’s well-suited for everyday listening and TV audio playback.

What do you think at the moment?

Ultimately, this all-in-one smart display and whole-home control hub is a worthy option for Alexa users or those looking to upgrade from a regular tablet to a larger device. It’s essentially a larger version of the Echo Show 15, but if space savings and a larger screen are important to you, the Amazon Echo Show 21 is a solid choice, especially now that it’s $50 off.
