As for my lifestyle, here are a few basic facts: I live in a small apartment and am constantly working on it. Sometimes this means completely overhauling my entire organization system. Sometimes I’m suddenly overcome with the urge to wallpaper the kitchen. I’m constantly renovating, cleaning, rearranging, and generally doing everything related to home improvement. Lately, this has included a lot of upgrades to appliances and other household items to make my space more comfortable and useful, not just beautiful.
One of the best things I’ve ever bought is the Shark TurboBlade Cool + Heat , which is both a heater and a fan. I’m picky about both because I always crave warmth and need a heater, but I also love the sound of a fan at night to help me fall asleep (while still being protected by the cool air under my covers). Having both devices in one is fantastic, and now that it’s $150 off on Black Friday, you might want to consider it too.
Shark TurboBlade Deal
First of all, I always want to be honest when I receive something from a company so I can leave a review. That’s what happened here. I don’t write positive reviews if something is bad, so I’m saying this thing is extremely useful.
The TurboBlade Cool + Heat typically retails for $400. That’s a hefty price tag, but it’s still a good value if you don’t want to spend a fortune on a good fan and a good heater separately. It’s also reasonable for someone like me who lives in a small apartment. It’s frustrating having to store two large units when you could just get one. However, the $250 holiday shopping discount is incredibly valuable.
Fan
The TurboBlade Cool + Heat is bladeless and has a modern look, which I like. It’s also powerful. You can adjust the airflow intensity to 10 levels, so you can get a gentle flow or a full blast. I chose level 10 because I especially enjoy white noise before bed, but it has a handy little remote control, so if it gets too loud or too strong, I don’t have to get up to adjust it. The heating function, which is easy to activate, has three settings. There’s a filter at the bottom that seems easy to clean, but I haven’t had to do that yet.
You can rotate the vents horizontally or vertically, and you can even tilt and oscillate them yourself. If you’re going to pay several hundred dollars for something, it should have some interesting features, and this one really works. You can also dim the control panel, which I do because I like to sleep in pitch darkness.
Some specs: 1400 watts of power, 1180 CFM of airflow, and a top speed of 10 RPM. It runs on 120 volts and weighs just over 21 pounds. I’m a simple guy, so I don’t really care about any of that except the weight. It doesn’t come assembled, so I stupidly assembled it in the middle of the hallway (which was perfectly easy to do and took me maybe five minutes), and then had to lug it, assembled and heavy, to where I wanted it. Is 21 pounds a ton of weight? No, but I had a hard time getting it up the stairs to my attic bedroom, and I regret not assembling it in the room I planned to use it in. Just a tip.
Which stores have the biggest discounts on Black Friday?
With both large retailers and small businesses competing for Black Friday shoppers, you can expect sales at virtually every store until Monday, December 1, 2025. The “best” discounts depend on your needs, but in general, the biggest discounts tend to be offered by large retailers that can afford lower prices, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Home Depot. You can find all the best sales from major retailers on our blog .
Are Black Friday deals worth it?
In short, yes, Black Friday still offers deals you rarely see the rest of the year. If you’re shopping or looking for gifts, now is the time to look for deals on essentials, especially tech , home goods , and fitness equipment . Of course, if you’re looking to save money, the best way to save is to buy nothing.
Are Cyber Monday deals better than Black Friday?
Black Friday used to favor large retailers and higher-end appliances, while Cyber Monday favored cheaper appliances and gave small businesses a chance to compete online. However, today, this distinction has become virtually meaningless. Every major retailer runs sales on both days, so it’s best to know what you need, use price trackers, or consult guides like our blog , which uses price trackers, and not worry about finding the perfect time.
