Apple’s AirPods remain the benchmark for elegant wireless earbuds that work really well (if you’re part of the Apple ecosystem). And now, Apple AirPods 4 are significantly cheaper than I’ve ever seen them—an all-time low of $70 (originally $130). Battery life is approximately 5 hours (approximately 4.5 hours of talk time), and the charging case adds an additional 25 hours. A five-minute charge provides up to an hour of playback or 45 minutes of talk time. There’s no dedicated app for these headphones, as they work natively with iOS, which is a big plus for Apple users (and who else buys AirPods?).
