Apple’s AirPods remain the benchmark for elegant wireless earbuds that work really well (if you’re part of the Apple ecosystem). And now, Apple AirPods 4 are significantly cheaper than I’ve ever seen them—an all-time low of $70 (originally $130). A discount of about 47% on a current-generation Apple product is simply incredible.
AirPods 4 feature the Apple H2 chip, which has been moved to the case for improved acoustics and airflow, as well as higher-quality sound (they offer “personalized spatial sound” technology for a more immersive listening experience). They also feature design improvements over their predecessor, including a more angular design and a smaller charging case.
While they don’t have active noise cancellation or the advanced features of the more expensive AirPods 4 with ANC , PCMag notes that they deliver superior sound and bass compared to other earbuds on the market, with smart features like a personalized volume feature that gradually adjusts the sound level based on the noise level in your environment, and hands-free Siri with gesture-based interaction.
Battery life is approximately 5 hours (approximately 4.5 hours of talk time), and the charging case adds an additional 25 hours. A five-minute charge provides up to an hour of playback or 45 minutes of talk time. There’s no dedicated app for these headphones, as they work natively with iOS, which is a big plus for Apple users (and who else buys AirPods?).
Which stores have the biggest discounts on Black Friday?
With both large retailers and small businesses competing for Black Friday shoppers, you can expect sales at virtually every store until Monday, December 1, 2025. The “best” discounts depend on your needs, but in general, the biggest discounts tend to be offered by large retailers that can afford lower prices, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Home Depot. You can find all the best sales from major retailers on our blog .
Are Black Friday deals worth it?
In short, yes, Black Friday still offers deals you rarely see the rest of the year. If you’re shopping or looking for gifts, now is the time to look for deals on essentials, especially tech , home goods , and fitness equipment . Of course, if you’re looking to save money, the best way to save is to buy nothing.
Are Cyber Monday deals better than Black Friday?
Black Friday used to favor large retailers and higher-end appliances, while Cyber Monday favored cheaper appliances and gave small businesses a chance to compete online. However, today, this distinction has become virtually meaningless. Every major retailer runs sales on both days, so it’s best to know what you need, use price trackers, or consult guides like our blog , which uses price trackers, and not worry about finding the perfect time.
