Get the New Galaxy Watch 8 Classic for $100 Off on Black Friday

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is now available for $100 off for Black Friday: the Bluetooth version has dropped from its original price of $499.99 to $399.99, while the LTE version has dropped from $549.99 to $449.99. The extra $50 for LTE is only worth it if you plan to use the watch without a phone. For most people who keep a phone handy, the Bluetooth version is more than enough.
The rotating physical bezel returns to the Classic and remains one of the most convenient ways to navigate the interface, especially when your hands are sweaty or busy. The display is brighter and easier to read in direct sunlight, the case has been slightly shortened for a more comfortable fit, and the battery lasts all day and all night with sleep tracking. The watch also features Google’s Gemini assistant and an updated sleep dashboard, so even if you don’t dive into the data, the summaries are clearer.
This year, Samsung added several smart features. Updated health sensors are more accurate in everyday use, dual-band GPS finds routes faster, and gesture control makes one-handed navigation easier while running. The running-specific artificial intelligence (AI) has also become more practical, offering subtle adjustments to your stride or pace instead of empty motivational promises. None of these changes are exactly the kind of changes that make a difference in everyday use.
Reviews (including this “excellent” PCMag review and our own ) agree that the Classic version feels more like a traditional watch while still retaining full smartwatch functionality. However, the 46mm size may not be for everyone, especially those who prefer more compact or lightweight options. Serious workout enthusiasts may need a longer battery life than the 30 hours you get. But for an everyday smartwatch with a fitness focus, it’s a great option.
