What’s New on Netflix in December 2025?

Netflix’s December lineup has something for everyone, from familiar original series to sports. Emily in Paris returns for its fifth season (December 18), this time set in Rome. The final season of Stranger Things will premiere at the end of the month (the first half of season five premiered in November). The second half will premiere at 5:00 PM PT on Christmas Day, and the finale will premiere at 5:00 PM PT on New Year’s Eve.

Also coming are “Love Is Blind: Italy” (December 1) and “My Next Guest with David Letterman and Adam Sandler” (December 1), in which Letterman joins Adam Sandler backstage on his comedy tour, as well as “What’s in the Box?” (December 17), a new game show hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.

On the film front, Daniel Craig returns as Detective Benoit Blanc in the new Knives Out mystery , Wake Up Dead (December 12). The standalone sequel, The Glass Onion, also stars Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner, Mila Kunis, Kerry Washington, and Andrew Scott.

Goodbye June (December 24) also features an impressive cast, including Helen Mirren, Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough, Johnny Flynn, and Kate Winslet, making her directorial debut. Four siblings grapple with the impending death of their mother during the Christmas holidays.

Finally, the December live stream schedule includes Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day (December 19) and two NFL Christmas Day games: Cowboys vs. Chiefs and Lions vs. Vikings.
