The Garmin Forerunner 265 and 965 Have Never Been Sold at Such a Low Price.

While I was pondering possible Black Friday sales , Garmin just slashed prices on several of its watches. The Forerunner 265 and 965 are on sale at their lowest prices ever—$150 off both models. Surprisingly, there are some other watches on sale, too.
The Garmin Forerunner 265 is one of my favorite running watches; you can read my review here . It has an AMOLED screen, a ton of advanced training metrics, dual-band GPS, and the ability to connect to a bike power meter—just a few of the features that set it apart from other watches. I own one myself and highly recommend it. It originally retailed for $449.99, but has occasionally been discounted by $50 or $100. Last year, it was $100 off on Black Friday, and the price has been periodically reduced since the release of the Forerunner 570 this year. (The 570 is essentially a Forerunner 265 with voice capabilities, and it’s not available this year—yet?)
Both sizes are now available: the 46mm 265 and its smaller version, the 42mm 265S (the S stands for “smaller”). Both are priced at $299.99 .
The Forerunner 965 has the same features as the 265, plus a few extras, the most important of which is mapping. The 965 typically retails for $599.99, but is currently on sale for $449.99 .
Amazon has them listed as a “limited time offer,” and Garmin has them in its “holiday gift guide,” suggesting this could be an early Black Friday price.
