Apple Watch Ultra 3 Is Now $100 Off.
Apple’s sales strategy may have changed. While new product models were previously rarely available, some are now offered with substantial discounts shortly after their release, such as the recently released MacBook Air M4 and now the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
Although the GPS + Cellular 49mm model was only released last September , it’s already on sale for $699.99 (it was originally priced at $799). According to price tracking tools , this is the lowest price it’s ever reached.
The Ultra is Apple’s “pro” watch, focused on durability and battery life. The main difference from the “standard” Apple Watch is that the Ultra has the largest and brightest display. This model offers updated display, processor, satellite and cellular connectivity, charging, and blood pressure monitoring features. New features have also been added, such as hypertension notifications ( FDA-cleared ) and sleep tracking.
Like previous versions, the Watch Ultra 3 is available in one size—49mm. Furthermore, it’s only available in a titanium case, while the new Apple Watch Series 11 is available in other sizes and materials, if you’re interested. (It’s also half the price, but you won’t get the same display, battery life, or accurate GPS, among other features .)
The Watch Ultra 3 is incredibly bright, with up to 3000 nits of brightness. Its 1Hz refresh rate and always-on display mean you don’t have to wake it to check the time. Its battery life lasts up to 42 hours on a single charge and up to 72 hours in Power Mode, a record for an Apple Watch.
Since this is the cellular version, you don’t need to take your iPhone with you to take calls or send text messages. The improved 5G connection means your calls will be less likely to drop, and downloads and streams will be faster.
If I were a betting man, I’d say you won’t find this watch cheaper on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, given its recent release and Apple’s history of sales. This price is probably the best right now.
