Fleet Feet and Running Warehouse are among the major stores that offer this perk; some online running shoe retailers (like Roadrunner ) include it in the membership price. However, some running shoe brands themselves offer a no-questions-asked return policy, so if you’re a Nike fan, for example, you might want to buy your shoes directly from that brand.

Don’t feel bad about taking advantage of this policy. The point is, you can trust your body and find out if the shoes fit you, instead of worrying about whether they’ll fit during a quick fitting. If you can’t shake the feeling of guilt, you can make up for it by buying your next pair of shoes from the same store. They do this to earn your trust.
