Why Now Is the Best Time to Buy a Peloton With a Referral Code
If you’ve been thinking about buying a new Peloton bike, treadmill, or rowing machine, now might be the time—assuming you know someone who’s already an All-Access member. Through November 11th, referral codes from existing members will allow you to save even more on equipment.

Last month, Peloton released updated versions of its fleet, including the Bike, Bike+, Tread+, Tread+, and Row. The new devices are known as the Cross Training series , and are therefore called the Cross Training Bike, Crosstraining Tread+, and so on. If you’re curious about how they differ from the older models, I wrote an explanation here , but the basic gist is that the signature touchscreens you use to track your instructor-led workouts now rotate, making it easier to exit the machine and, for example, do strength training or yoga. The Plus line also features a motion-tracking camera that uses AI to correct your form, suggest when to add weight or reps, and monitor your workouts.
As you might expect, these products are more expensive than their predecessors, so the current promotion might be of interest to you. If you receive a referral code from an existing All-Access member, here’s what you can receive at checkout:

Your referrer must be an All Access member, not a user of one of Peloton’s cheaper app-only digital offerings. They must not be renting equipment, their membership cannot be suspended, and they must not be a Peloton employee.
Please note that this only applies to new devices. This means you can’t use a referral code to get a discount on purchases on the Peloton Repowered resale platform, although that’s always a good option if you’re looking for equipment on a budget. You don’t need the Cross Training series to get a good workout (though I loved my demo versions of those devices); I ‘ve been using the same Peloton Bike for almost five years and love it—I ride it every day.
You can redeem your code on the Peloton website or in Peloton stores . However, please note that you must be a new customer to do so.
How to find a referral code
If you’d rather be a referrer than a referee, here’s how to generate a code that’ll earn you some points with your fitness-loving friends. The easiest way is to follow this link and log in to your Peloton account.
Otherwise, go to members.onepeloton.com and select the hamburger menu in the upper right corner, then click “Invite Friends.” If you don’t see this link or it doesn’t work, you can’t share the code. You can also do this in the mobile app by clicking the “Community” tab, then “Add Friends” in the upper right corner, then “Invite Friends.”
Remember how I mentioned you’d earn bonus points for the people you referred? You get something extra: you can give away up to $1,200 for referring people, but you also get a free month of All Access for each person you refer. Once someone makes a purchase using your code, you’ll receive an email with your code and instructions on how to use it within three to five business days. Voucher codes are valid for three months from the date they’re issued.
