TCL makes good non-OLED TVs (perhaps some of the best for the price), like last year’s QM7, which I bought and is still a great buy in 2025. There are many differences between QLED and OLED , but if you don’t plan to spend thousands of dollars, QLED is perfectly fine.
Check out the new TCL QM6K QLED TV, which is on sale for $749.99 for the 75-inch model (originally $999.99). According to price tracking tools , this is the lowest price for this TV. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and have been pleasantly surprised by its value for money. If you’re looking for other TV sizes, the 55-inch is now $497.99 (originally $599.99), and the 85-inch is now $999.99 (originally $1,499.99).
The TCL QM series offers excellent value for money, regardless of size. The QM6K is a significant improvement over last year’s model, now featuring local dimming zones (500, according to a CNET review) and a mini-LED panel, significantly increasing contrast. Color reproduction is also surprisingly accurate right out of the box when viewing HDR content, making it ideal for those who don’t like fiddling with settings.
With the QM6K, you get a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR formats such as HDR ULTRA with Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG, Dolby Atmos audio, an anti-glare screen, four HDMI inputs (one of which is eARC), and Google TV Smart OS (my favorite) with built-in Chromecast, which means you can stream from your phone. According to a ZDNet review, it also has built-in Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa .
If you’re a gamer, the QM6K has a lot to offer , according to IGN’s review. The Game Bar feature lets you adjust settings on the fly. It also features a VRR accelerator that doubles the refresh rate to 288Hz. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology is also supported, ensuring a smooth gaming experience on PC or console. It’s a truly impressive budget QLED TV.
