Target is no stranger to competition from Amazon. They ‘ve combined their Circle Week sales with Prime Day numerous times . With Prime Day just around the corner, Target just announced its own October sale. Here’s everything you need to know.
What is Target Circle Week?
“Circle Week” is the name of Target’s biggest sale. As the name suggests, it lasts a full week, and while it used to be held only once a year, it now happens several times. The last sale took place this summer , and before that, in the spring , coinciding with Prime Day and Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, respectively.
When is Circle Week?
The next Circle Week runs from October 5th to 11th. This means it begins two days before October Prime Day , which runs from October 7th to 8th.
Do I need to be a member to shop the sales during Target Circle Week?
Like Amazon’s Prime Day sale, you need to be a Circle member to participate, but unlike Prime, Target Circle is free. You can sign up for an account in the Target app or at Target.com .
You can also purchase a paid subscription to Target’s Circle 360 , which gives you early access to sales and other benefits like same-day delivery. If you’re a teacher or student, you can save 50% on an annual Circle 360 subscription until September 13; otherwise, subscriptions start at $10.99 per month. However, again, a paid subscription is not required to receive all the best Circle Week deals.
What deals can I find during Target Circle Week?
Circle Week will feature clothing, home goods like kitchen appliances, storage systems, floor care, and bedding, entertainment and fun, and Halloween costumes and treats. You’ll also find tech on sale, which we’ll be featuring as usual. You can purchase items in person or online, and each day of the event will feature a “Deal of the Day” with discounts of 40% or more.
While Target hasn’t yet released a list of expected discounts, you can get a pretty good idea by looking at past Circle Week sales. Here are some of the discounts that ended Circle Week last fall .
Which competitors are also offering sales?
Amazon’s October Prime Day runs from October 7th to 8th, so all other sales are typically timed to coincide with those dates. Walmart will likely hold its Walmart Deals sale, as it has in the past , and Best Buy will likely have its own sale as well. I’ll share details of these sales as they become available.
