2025 has been a busy year for Samsung. In July, the company unveiled its latest foldable smartphones , the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. Two months later, Samsung is back with more news. At its latest Galaxy Event, the company unveiled four devices: the Galaxy S25 FE (the latest “budget” model in the Galaxy S25 series), as well as the Galaxy Tab S11, Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, and Galaxy Buds 3 FE.
Galaxy S25 FE
The Galaxy S25 FE is the latest model in Samsung’s “Fan Edition” series of devices. This Galaxy sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The S25 FE is very similar in size to the S25+ that was released earlier this year.
At the heart of the smartphone is a Samsung Exynos 2400 chip with 8GB of RAM, instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor found in the flagship S25 models. With the S25 FE, you still get access to all the Galaxy AI features , such as Now Bar and Now Brief, Circle Search , and automatic video trimming.
The S25 FE comes with a 4,900mAh battery, which is 4,700mAh larger than last year’s S24 FE. The smartphone supports 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The S25 FE is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
In terms of cameras, the S25 FE features a 50-megapixel main wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel front camera. Other features of the S25 FE include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, a face scanner, and support for Samsung DeX wireless connectivity. The S25 FE is available in Jetblack, Navy, Icyblue, and White.
