We’re just getting over the fading hype of “Made by Google 2025” and just around the corner from Apple’s big iPhone 17 event , which means it’s time for another tech company to unveil its own gadget. In this case, it’s Samsung, which is hosting a surprise virtual Galaxy event to kick off the new month.
The company announced the event on Thursday in a blog post , though details are still unclear. It will reportedly introduce a “new gateway to the latest Galaxy AI capabilities” and will feature devices ranging from “premium AI tablets to the latest member of the Galaxy S25 family.”
Samsung, of course, isn’t revealing exactly what devices it’ll be unveiling, though some outlets have speculated that it’ll be the Galaxy S25 FE . The FE is Samsung’s “budget” Galaxy line, featuring some of the Galaxy S series hardware but cutting back on features to keep the price down. Samsung announced the S24 FE last September , so the timing makes sense. This could also be the occasion to unveil the Tab S11 , though we won’t know exactly what Samsung is planning until the event.
While we don’t yet know if the S11 tablet will be unveiled next week, we do know that the Tab is coming. That’s because Samsung is offering a $50 discount to all customers who reserve the latest Galaxy Tab. For the discount to apply to select items, you’ll need to reserve the device by September 3 and make your purchase between September 4 and October 5.
How to watch
Samsung’s next Galaxy event kicks off on Thursday, September 4 at 5:30 a.m. That’s still pretty early for those on the East Coast, and especially early for those on the Pacific Coast. However, if you’re awake on the fourth, you can watch the livestream either on Samsung’s website or on the company’s official YouTube channel .
