The early Labor Day sales are starting, offering great deals on all sorts of tech, including TVs , iPads, tablets , and headphones. If you need help listening to music, there are plenty of great deals on everything from Sony’s latest headphones to the wildly popular Nothing earbuds. Here are the best deals I’ve found so far.
The Nothing brand has been impressing me lately, offering incredibly high-quality products at a lower price than the competition. The Nothing Noise-Canceling Headphones are no exception, selling for $269 (originally $299). These headphones feature a unique design , powerful active noise cancellation, support for high-resolution codecs, and a great companion app. You can read more about them in PCMag’s review .
Soundcore stands out from other budget headphone brands with its amazingly high-quality products. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC headphones are high quality and incredibly good value for your wallet. They are currently marked down 43% to $56.99 (originally $99.99).
If you want to spend less than $40 on headphones from a trusted brand that actually work, check out the Sony WH-CH520 wireless headphones, now just $38 (originally $69.99). They offer long battery life, customizable sound, and a comfortable, padded, swiveling design.
At the top end of premium headphones are the Sonos Ace . Anyone familiar with the Sonos ecosystem should consider picking them up . But even if you’re not, these headphones are great for both Android and Apple users. They’re available for $299 (originally $399). You can read more about them in PCMag’s review, which earned them an “excellent” rating .
The JBL Vibe Beam 3 headphones, which are on sale for $139.95 (originally $199.95) with a 30% discount, have some unique features. The charging case features touchscreen controls, allowing you to control playback and switch between different sound modes. According to PCMag’s “excellent” review , the headphones also feature great sound, effective noise cancellation, long battery life, and good codec support. You can also find a more budget-friendly option for $29.95 .
The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds let you fully customize your sound with various equalizers and in-app personalization, but the sound is balanced and rich right out of the box. Plus, the earbuds support the high-end LC3 and LDAC Bluetooth codecs. Their active noise cancellation (ANC) is excellent, but what’s special about them is that, unlike many other ANC earbuds, the sound quality doesn’t suffer when using ANC, as noted in PCMag’s “outstanding” review . They’re available for $213 (originally $329.99).
Speaking of the 1000X series, all three of the latest versions of the headphones are currently on sale. The WH-1000XM6 headphones are the best headphones you can buy for the money, as I noted in my review . While that’s not the biggest discount at $428 (the original price was $449.99), any sale on these newly released headphones is great.
The WH-1000XM5 were dethroned by the XM6 earlier this year, but that came at a nice discount: They’re now $274 (originally $399.99). That’s an incredible price for a pair of headphones that are very close in quality to the XM6. You can read more about them in PCMag’s review .
If you’re looking for the cheapest of the three, the WH-1000XM4 start at $198 (originally $349.99). They’re not as fancy as the XM6, but they’re still a great headphone that’s powerful enough for most people. You can read more about them in PCMag’s review .
