Introducing Google’s New Pixelsnap Magnetic Phone Accessories
At the Made by Google 2025 event where the Google Pixel 10 series was fully unveiled , the company also announced a new line of accessories under the Pixelsnap brand. This is Google’s answer to Apple’s MagSafe line of accessories for the iPhone, and they work on the same principle. Google’s accessories attach to the Pixel 10 smartphones (and other compatible phones) using magnets and support the Qi 2 wireless charging standard. You can pre-order these accessories today, or find them in stores starting August 28.
Pixelsnap Chargers
The Pixelsnap Charger is available with or without the stand. Interestingly, the Pixelsnap Charger can charge the Pixel 10 Pro XL at 25W, while all other devices can charge at 15W. This means that if you buy a Pixel 10, 10 Pro, or 10 Pro Fold, you’ll get the same charging speeds as any other phone that supports Qi2 wireless charging. The charger can be detached from the stand, which is great for travel, as it’s not always convenient to carry a stand with you.
The Pixelsnap charger can be purchased for $40, and if you want to purchase it with the stand, the price will be $70.
Several cases compatible with wireless chargers
The Pixelsnap line also includes cases. All of Google’s Pixel 10 cases are compatible with Pixelsnap, meaning you don’t have to remove the case when using a wireless charger. There are quite a few color options available, but not all of them are available for the Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold phones. Cases start at $50 and go up to $70.
Pixelsnap Ring Stand Supports Your Phone
Google has also released a charger-less stand to help you keep your smartphone in place. With this accessory, you can also turn your Pixel into a desk clock when not in use. The Pixelsnap Ring Stand costs $30.
Dual Port Fast Charger
The Pixel Flex Charger isn’t a Pixelsnap accessory per se, but you’ll need it if you need a wall adapter to charge your devices. It’s a fast charger with two USB-C ports and supports up to 67W of fast charging. Google says it uses a proprietary algorithm that “identifies and prioritizes charging of Pixel phones while simultaneously charging a second device.” The price of this product is $60.
And that’s not all
The Pixelsnap lineup isn’t limited to just Google products. You’ll also find Pixelsnap-compatible accessories from third-party manufacturers, including phone cases, wallets, and more. Some of these are already available , so be sure to check them out. If the Pixel 10 is a success, there’s a chance more Pixelsnap-compatible accessories will come out, but for now, there are plenty of options to get you started.
