What to Expect From Made by Google 2025

The Made by Google 2025 conference kicks off on Wednesday, August 20, which means that in just a few hours, we’ll be able to see all the new devices Google is working on. The company has already confirmed some details, but beyond product renders, Google isn’t ready to share any details until its representatives take the stage .

Still, there are plenty of leaks and rumors to sift through — so many that I can probably already guess what Google is going to announce. Anything is possible, but Google will definitely unveil a new Pixel 10 lineup, and possibly a Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a.

Pixel 10

Google isn’t exactly keeping the Pixel 10 lineup a secret. In fact, the company has already unveiled each new device in advance. The official Made by Google YouTube page shows the first footage of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold .

Let’s take a look at the Pixel 10. The overall design is largely unchanged from the Pixel 9, except for the base Pixel 10 model, which seems poised to adopt the Pro phones’ triple-camera system. The phone is rumored to feature a new 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens, in addition to a 48-megapixel wide-angle and 13-megapixel ultra-wide lenses. The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL will likely retain their updated cameras, including a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, 48-megapixel ultra-wide, and 48-megapixel telephoto lens. As with most years, you’ll need to step up to the Pro to get the best cameras, but at least base model users will have a third camera this year.

These phones are likely powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor chipset, the G5. (The Pixel 9 line uses the Tensor G4, so the name makes sense.) While leaked benchmarks suggest the Tensor G5 may be underpowered compared to the Galaxy S25’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, we won’t know how the chip will actually perform until reviewers get their hands on the Pixel 10. Google is optimizing the chip for the Pixel, so benchmarks alone aren’t enough to gauge its performance.

In terms of colors, the Pixel 10 is rumored to come in four colors: Obsidian (black), Indigo (purple), Frost (light blue), and Lemonade (yellow). The 10 Pro could come in Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Moonstone (gray), and Jade (green).

The Pixel 10 could support Qi2 wireless charging , putting it on par with Apple’s iPhone . If true, your Pixel 10 could support magnetic wireless charging at impressive speeds.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold

Judging by Google’s preview of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the foldable smartphone looks pretty much the same as last year. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, I guess.

But like other Pixel devices, the changes are mostly under the hood. The 10 Pro Fold will also get the G5 Tensor chip and a triple-camera system: a 48-megapixel main lens, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x zoom. The selfie cameras will likely be dual 10-megapixel shooters, one on the front and one on the inner display.

However, unlike other phones, this Fold will only be available in two colors: moonstone and jade.

What do you think at the moment?

Pixel Watch 4

Google may be releasing a new Pixel Watch tomorrow . The fourth-generation watch probably won’t be much different from the Pixel Watch 3, as you’ll still have the choice between 41mm and 45mm cases, as well as the iconic round design. However, like other Pixel devices, the hardware is reportedly getting some upgrades.

The Pixel Watch 4 will likely be powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip with the M55 coprocessor. It could also feature a brighter AMOLED display with up to 3,000 nits of brightness. Battery capacity could increase by 7% to 327 mAh on the 41mm model and by 9% on the 459 mAh model, which would slightly improve battery life if the new chip doesn’t suck up too much power.

Google could also introduce a few new features. The Pixel Watch 4 could be able to “continuously” track your blood oxygen levels throughout the day, rather than just at night. The company could extend the Notification Cooldown feature to Wear OS 6 so that all compatible Pixel Watches can limit notifications to a certain time period.

Pixel Buds 2a

The Pixel Buds 2a are a rumored update to Google’s Pixel Buds A-Series, which are supposed to be an “affordable” line of earbuds. We might see these earbuds tomorrow, and if so, so will the new charging case design. The inside of the case should now match the color of the earbuds themselves, which isn’t necessarily a reason to buy new ones, but the design itself is nice.

Otherwise, the leaks surrounding these headphones have been fairly minor. Longer battery life and improved sound quality are expected, but beyond that, we can only guess.

Perhaps Google has some other news that it has successfully kept from leaking. We just have to wait until the event itself to find out what’s what.
