The 512GB Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is currently priced at $1,849.97, a whopping $270 off its regular price of $2,119.99. Surprisingly, that’s cheaper than the 256GB version, meaning you’re getting twice the storage for less.
The discount applies to both Jet Black and Shadow Blue, but there’s a catch: The main product page defaults to the 256GB model. The Fold 7 is a surprisingly well-designed device for those looking for a phone and tablet in one. Unfold it and you’ll find a huge, nearly square display that’s great for multitasking, reading, or watching videos without the black bars of a regular phone. Fold it and you’re back to a more traditional (but still large) outer screen for quick replies, navigation, or answering calls. Samsung has made the hinge thinner and sturdier this year, and the phone feels more balanced in the hand than previous versions. The cameras are also good: they take great photos in both day and night, and video calls look sharp.
However, if you’re more of a flip phone than a foldable one, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 also offers the same storage expansion deal. The 256GB model costs $1,099.99, while the 512GB model in Jet Black costs $1,089. That’s $10 less for twice the storage, which is rare for smartphones. With the Fold 7 and Flip 7, you get Samsung’s best displays, solid build quality, and a design that still looks great in 2025. If you’re already spending over a grand, it makes sense to get the extra storage, especially since it’s cheaper than the base model.
