Powerful JBL Outdoor Speaker System $160 Off at Woot

The JBL Xtreme 4 is quite large — on the edge of what I’d call a portable speaker — but it makes up for it with powerful sound; it’ll easily set the tone for a big backyard barbecue. It’s currently $160 off at Woot, bringing the price down to $219.95 (originally $379.95).
That’s an all-time low for this speaker, according to price tracking tools . For reference, that’s $30 cheaper than Prime Day. If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, shipping is free; otherwise, shipping is $6. (Note: Woot only ships to the lower 48 states.)
I’ve been using the JBL Xtreme 4 outdoor speakers for a few months now, taking them to my backyard, office, and Street FC games. Since I have other JBL speakers , I can take full advantage of the Aurocast feature, which lets me connect them to other JBL speakers for a richer sound. I’ve also found the advanced EQ settings and presets very helpful.
The speaker is powerful, as you would expect for a speaker of this size. It especially stands out for its powerful bass, typical of JBL speakers. Thanks to its IP67 protection, it is submersible and dust-resistant, making it ideal for the beach. It also comes with a removable carrying strap, which makes it much easier to carry.
The battery lasts about 27 hours, depending on usage, but I’ve been able to extend that by being careful with the volume. Speaking of volume, this is a directional speaker, meaning it will sound where it’s pointed. In my backyard, I like to put it as far away as possible and turn up the volume, which works great for my gatherings of a dozen or so people.
