You Can Already Get Discounts on Nintendo Switch 2 Games on Woot

The Nintendo Switch 2 is now on sale at most major retailers, and surprisingly, there are plenty of stocks despite high demand and tariffs . Even more impressive, Nintendo Switch 2 games are already discounted during Nintendo’s Woot sale . The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Kart World are currently priced at $71.99 (originally $79.99). But before you commit, you might want to shop around for a better deal.
In case you didn’t know, you can upgrade some Nintendo Switch games to Nintendo Switch 2 games for around $9.99 for most of them. For some games, this makes more sense than buying the Switch 2 game. For example, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Nintendo Switch is currently $47.99 (originally $59.99). With the $9.99 upgrade, you’ll only lose $56.98, saving around $15 over the Switch 2 version. Keep in mind that it’s best to wait until you receive the game from Woot first before buying the upgrade, as there’s a small chance the game could be an international release (you’ll need to buy the international version digital code if that’s the case). While this is unlikely, since Woot is usually very clear when a product is international, it doesn’t hurt to be on the safe side.
If you bought the Pokemon Bundle with your Switch 2, now is the time to grab Mario Kart World at a discount. But if you don’t have a Switch 2 at all, be sure to check out the Mario Kart World Bundle — it offers the best deal yet. Nintendo isn’t likely to lower the prices of its flagship games anytime soon, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to add to your Nintendo game library while you can save.
