Use This App to Turn Any Windows PC Into an AirPlay Server

You have a video on your iPhone and a computer across the room. Can you quickly show the video to it? If it’s a Mac, then yes – just use AirPlay. Windows computers, unfortunately, do not support this feature.
Unless, of course, you install Air Screen Mirror Receiver . This app turns any Windows computer into an AirPlay-compatible host, allowing you to stream Apple device screens — both video and audio — to your PC. Install and launch the app, and you’ll see details about your new AirPlay server.
If you want, you can change the name and select the speakers you want. Now, open Control Center on your Apple device and tap the Cast Screen button, which looks like two overlapping rectangles. If you’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer, you’ll see this button as an option. Tap it, and your screen will begin to stream to the Air Screen Mirror receiver. Now you can play any video you want to share.
Your iPhone or iPad display will be displayed inside the app window. I recommend using the full-screen button, which essentially turns your computer into a full-fledged AirPlay receiver. This is great for watching videos – I tested this on YouTube for a while and found it to work perfectly. It’s also great for showing photos on your phone to a group of people. It can also be useful for presentations if your computer is already connected to a TV or projector and the presentation is on your phone.
The app is free, but every five minutes it adds a watermark for 30 seconds. If you find it annoying, you can remove it for $4, which is also a good way to support the developer. I’ve been looking for a tool like this for a while, and this seems like the best value for money.
