My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: the Enormous Hisense U7 QLED TV

Prime Day is long gone, but there are still deals out there that match (or beat) Prime Day prices. One of them is the massive 100-inch Hisense U76N TV, which is available for $1,399.99 (originally $1,898). According to price tracking tools, that price beats the Prime Day discount. By comparison, the same TV cost $2,300 (down from $3,000) during last year’s Memorial Day sale.
100-inch TVs are huge and generally come in similar price ranges. Plus, QLED TVs of this size don’t have a lot of competition because there aren’t many companies making them. But if you know when and where to look, you can find cheaper options. The U76N is a good example, offering great value for its size and features. It supports 4K resolution, Dolby Vision (plus HDR10+, HDR10, HLG), Dolby Atmos, full-array local dimming, and runs Google OS. It’s my favorite TV because it’s easy to stream from your phone (Android or iOS) or computer, and it’s fast and clear.
This TV was announced at CES 2024 , so it’s already in that golden age where you can see great deals on it. But it’s still a new model with cutting-edge tech. As mentioned, there aren’t many 100-inch QLED TVs with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and high contrast like this one for under $1,400. It’s also great for gaming, with a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate, including FreeSync Premium Pro and Dolby Vision. Keep in mind, though, that the speakers aren’t great — like most TVs, you’ll want to invest in a soundbar and subwoofer at a minimum.
