My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: This Nearly New Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

I don’t often see Kindle Paperwhite sales, especially on the latest version, but right now a 2024 Kindle Paperwhite 12th generation, nearly new, 16GB is $106.99 (originally $143.99). That’s the lowest price ever for this device, according to price tracking tools . These used Kindle deals tend to sell out quickly, so be quick if you’re interested.

The Kindle Paperwhite is Amazon’s most popular reading tablet , and according to PCMag’s “outstanding” review , it’s the best for most people. It offers a slew of improvements over the 2021 11th-generation version, most notably a larger 7-inch display and significantly faster performance. It still retains all the benefits of the previous version, like a fully waterproof IPX8-rated design, enough storage to hold more than 10,000 books (though not everyone can read that many books, of course), and unlimited cloud storage.

If you’re not sure if this is the right Kindle for you, check out the Colorsoft version . It supports color display, making reading manga or comics more enjoyable. We’ve also reviewed all the Kindle models to help you make the right choice. If you already have an 11th-generation Kindle, that may not be enough to justify an upgrade unless you just want the latest from Amazon. However, any device older than that generation can benefit from features like Bluetooth support, which is great for audiobooks.

What do you think at the moment?

The screen has a 300 ppi (pixels per inch) density and 16 levels of backlighting, as well as an optional warm backlight. I often use this feature to read before bed without straining my eyes (or my partner’s eyes). I also love the incredibly long battery life. This tablet is estimated to last up to 12 weeks on a single charge, depending on usage and brightness settings.
