New to Prime Day? We’ve got everything you need to get started . Sales information is accurate at time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
If you don’t like the idea of your living room being centered around your TV, you might want to check out Samsung’s The Frame, which is also a work of art. It’s at its lowest price ever during Prime Day: With about 50% off, you can snag a 2024 55-inch The Frame for just $800 — down from its regular price of $1,498.
Aesthetics, form factor and a great TV
The Frame TV has a matte anti-glare coating that reduces glare and reflections. So even when it’s off or in Art mode, it looks like a painting. In Art mode, you can switch between famous paintings or your own photos. The Frame TV frame resembles a wooden picture frame (which can be customized and easily replaced thanks to magnets). It’s also quite thin, so it will fit into any interior.
The TV is also quite worthy of attention. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for gaming, HDR10+, and Smart TV features. The 40-watt speakers also support Dolby Atmos. The TV uses the OneConnect Box, which combines all the ports and the power supply into a single case that can be hidden in a cabinet. The Frame TV only has one cable, which is why it is so thin — only about 2.5 cm.
The problem with recommending The Frame has always been the price. $1,500 seemed way too expensive for a TV. $800 is a much more reasonable price.
