One of the best deals right now is the TCL 85QM850G 85-inch 4K TV, which is currently on sale on Amazon for $1,626.42 . That’s a pretty crazy price for a TV that was $3,799 when it launched and was down to $2,499.99 just a few days ago. For those who like math, that’s 57% off its original MSRP, and still a hefty 35% off its more recent $2,499.99 price tag.

The 85QM850G isn’t just a huge TV; it also packs some pretty advanced display technology. While it’s not quite OLED, which remains the gold standard for flat screens, it’s QLED/mini-LED, which is a close second (based on my personal experience). In fact, mini-LED has some advantages over OLED. Many mini-LED displays have superior brightness, for example, because (as the name suggests) they contain thousands of tiny LEDs for backlighting. That advantage is quite evident here, with the 85QM850G reaching an impressive 2,000 nits of brightness.
