New to Prime Day? We’ve got everything you need to get started . Sales information is accurate at time of publication, but prices and stock levels are subject to change.
Here’s a bargain that audiophiles will love. The Soundboks Go , the Soundboks 4’s smaller, more portable sibling, is on sale for just $599 (originally $799). According to price trackers , the $200 discount is the biggest ever for this speaker, so now’s the perfect time to splurge on a premium speaker.
In my review of the flagship Soundboks 4, I noted that I was hesitant to crank it up to its maximum 126dB volume outdoors (mostly due to concerns about noise, as I was in a park near many residential buildings). While I’m glad I did, not everyone needs that kind of power. Meet the more affordable and compact junior model.
The Soundboks Go is much more portable and almost as loud, with the same 40 hours of battery life. As you can read in my Soundboks Go review , you get an impressive 121 decibels of volume from a small 20-pound speaker. It’s also rugged, with IP65 splash and dust resistance. I took it to my local soccer field and was able to play music for 22 players in the rain, even surviving a couple of soccer ball drops.
This speaker is designed for those who want a portable speaker that is easy to carry with one hand, but can still pack a punch while still delivering great sound. While it may lack many party features and capabilities, it does a great job of getting the job done.
