New to Prime Day? We’ve got everything you need to get started . Sales information is accurate at time of publication, but prices and stock levels are subject to change.
Like clockwork, every summer brings another Prime Day and new discounts on video games and accessories. No matter how you play, there are deals for you. Before Prime Day ends, you can snag everything from new consoles and VR headsets to Nintendo games that rarely go on sale.
This list is mostly about console games, with a few mobile games thrown in for good measure. If you’re looking for great deals on PC games, check out my recommendations for the best gaming laptop deals you can find right now .
The best deals on gaming equipment are still on
Before we get into the games themselves, let’s talk about gaming hardware. While there aren’t many discounts on the major current-gen consoles right now, that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck.
-
The original Nintendo Switch is still a great device, and right now you can get the OLED model for $100 off.
-
If you’ve been waiting to jump into the world of VR, the Meta Quest 3S is a great place to start, and you can get one for $50 off right now, or $80 off if you go for the higher-storage version that includes Batman: Arkham Shadow .
-
There’s also the Lenovo Legion Go S , which now comes with a stripped-down Windows version of the device. I prefer the SteamOS version, but fortunately, installing SteamOS on this model is fairly easy.
-
You can even get a cheap cloud gaming setup by purchasing a Fire TV Stick 4K Max, 1 month of Game Pass, and an Xbox controller for just a little more than the Xbox controller itself.
No matter how you prefer to play, there’s sure to be something you’ll enjoy among this summer’s offerings.
The best deals on Nintendo games are still on
Nintendo’s first-party games don’t often make it to the sales, but with the Nintendo Switch 2 launching this summer, many original Switch titles are getting discounts of up to $40. That includes games from beloved franchises like Zelda , Mario , and Pokémon , to name a few. Even if you’ve upgraded to Nintendo’s latest console, these games will still run on it, and some will even have improved performance. But even on the Switch 1, they’re worth it — Nintendo games are still revered after all these years, and for good reason.
The best PlayStation and Xbox game deals are still on
Finally, PlayStation and Xbox owners have their own special deals. These include discounts on classics like Elden Ring , as well as recently released titles like Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows . There are discounts on RPGs, stealth games, and even co-op platformers.
Some offers are only available on certain platforms, even if the game is multi-platform, so I’ve indicated in brackets next to the game name which platform the offer is available on.
