If you’ve ever had meat, eggs, or fish cooked sous vide, you know that the protein can be completely different — not tough, but incredibly tender. Anova Culinary is one of the leading manufacturers of immersion circulators. They have some amazing Wi-Fi-enabled kitchen electronics, but frankly, they’re way too expensive for the typical Friday shopping trip. Well, not today, folks. An immersion circulating machine, or sous vide, is a device that slowly heats a large water bath and maintains a low cooking temperature to gently cook your dish. It’s much lower than your oven or air fryer can handle — we’re talking 59°C (130°F) — which is pretty low. It takes a few hours of slow cooking, but the results are worth it. The Anova Precision Cooker Pro is normally $399, but it’s currently on sale for 57% off at $172.09 . That’s over $200. It’s a real bargain, and I’m not sure we’ll ever see a discount like this again.
For more details, Anova Culinary offers two main immersion circulators: the Precision Cooker 3.0, which is better suited for smaller batches (retail price: $229), and the Precision Cooker Pro, a premium model that can cook larger batches and heats up even faster than the Precision Cooker 3.0. Both are Wi-Fi-enabled, so you can easily control them via an app. The Precision 3.0 is currently priced at $137.99 , but thanks to a sale, the Precision Pro is only $35 more. Personally, I think the speed and extra features are worth it, so I recommend the Pro.
