They’re also the only laptops with Apple’s powerful yet efficient M-series processors, which deliver great performance and long battery life. Creative types love them, and right now you can get the latest line of MacBooks with M4-series chips at a reduced price. Whether you’re looking for a compact MacBook Air or a larger-screen MacBook Pro, we’ve got you covered.
The best Windows laptop deals are still on sale
While I’ve gotten used to a MacBook over the years, I’m a Windows fan at heart. It’s just that I grew up with it, and sometimes Apple’s attempts to make the computer more user-friendly actually hurt me by burying too many settings in deep menus where only “power users” can see them. If this sounds familiar, there are also plenty of Windows laptop sales happening this Prime Day. Notable deals include one on a Microsoft Surface laptop, which offers a MacBook-like laptop experience, and two on “convertibles” — laptops that can be folded 360 degrees to become tablets. You can’t get that with Apple.
The Best Gaming Laptops That Are Still Selling
Gaming laptops are a great compromise for gamers who live in a small space, are constantly on the go, or frequent LAN parties. This Prime Day, you can find deals at a range of power levels, from decent last-gen machines that now cost about the same as a Chromebook to solid mid-range models. Companies often use these events to clear out old inventory, so sales of the latest and greatest laptops are few and far between right now. But these machines should still be able to handle most games, as long as you’re willing to tweak your settings a bit.
The Best Chromebooks That Are Still on Sale
If you spend most of your time on your computer in a browser, Chromebooks are a great way to get just the computing power you need while saving money. They’re not as powerful as Windows or Mac laptops, but they get the job done, and many students are already familiar with them — they’re handed out like candy in schools. Plus, you can get some Pixel-like AI features if you opt for a slightly more expensive Chromebook Plus , and unusual form factors like detachable screens are common options.
