Prime Day 2025 runs from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price tracking tools.

Sales on Nintendo’s first-party games are rare, but if you’re willing to spend around $40 per game this Prime Day, you can snag the latest releases from some of the company’s biggest franchises, including Mario , Zelda , Donkey Kong , and Pokémon .

Twenty-eight percent off may not seem like much, but in Nintendo dollars, it’s heaven. And the selection is pretty solid. No, there aren’t any discounted Nintendo Switch 2 games yet, but if you’re still playing on the original Switch, there are enough to keep you entertained for hours. (Plus, you can take advantage of the Switch 2 launch to pick up an original Switch for a low price right now, then take advantage of these game deals to fill out your library.)

Switch 1 classics like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey stand out as must-buys here, but I’m personally impressed that newer games like The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom are already seeing price cuts. Whether you’re into platformers, party games, or RPGs, there’s something here for you. And yes, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is on sale, too.

The only catch? A significant portion of those sales are coming from Woot!. Woot! is an Amazon subsidiary, so you don’t have to worry about scams, but the stock there often moves faster than its big brother. It’s a real race to the flagpole, folks.

Looking for something different? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot are running Prime Day sales that are especially helpful if you don’t have an Amazon Prime subscription.

  • Walmart’s Prime Day sale starts at midnight on July 8 and includes discounts of up to 50% . It’s an especially great deal for those with a Walmart+ subscription.

  • Best Buy’s Prime Day sale , Black Friday in July, runs through Sunday, July 13, and is one of the best tech deals online . It’s an especially good deal for My Best Buy Plus or Total members.

  • Home Depot has extended its Fourth of July sale through at least July 9, offering some great deals . This is an especially great deal if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor gear.
