I used to drink a lot of soda, but a few years ago I replaced Diet Coke with sparkling water and have never looked back.
I originally bought the SodaStream to save money, but quickly realized that freshly carbonated, blazingly sparkling water is better in every way than store-bought sparkling water that has been sitting in a bottle for who knows how long. Sparkling water is healthy and hydrating, and making your own seltzer means you’re not creating plastic waste and you can create custom carbonated cocktails like a freaking alchemist. Sparkling water/seltzer/soda water is the best drink in the world.
All that said, this SodaStream Terra sparkling water kit is on sale for Prime Day at $79.99, which is nearly half the $149.99 list price. (Okay, it’ll take a little while to start saving.) It even comes with Bubly Drops flavorings to get you started with cocktail making. Pro tip: Bubly is great because it’s unsweetened, but don’t try to be sneaky and buy syrups that taste like branded sodas like Coke and Pepsi; they’re seriously gross.
