New to Prime Day? We’ve got the lowdown on everything you need to know . Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.
I was so excited the day I could finally afford a real, full-size food processor. The problem is that “full-size” means big, and while I lug one around for big projects, it’s too much of a hassle to do it every day. That’s why I love the sleek Hamilton Beach 3-cup food processor that I always have lying around. I use it every day, and I probably chop garlic in it once a day. It was only $25 when I got it, and it’s now $13.99, so passing it up would be a shame.
While three cups may not seem like much, it’s enough for several important tasks. That aforementioned garlic chopping only takes a few minutes; a handful of garden herbs are chopped up quickly; and I can fit a whole onion in there without a problem. It’s especially handy for making quick dry spice mixes.
At just 8 inches tall, this mini food processor fits just about anywhere. The parts are dishwasher safe, but I usually just need to rinse them out. Unlike my full-size food processor, there’s no complicated assembly required to turn it on. Just push it down for a few seconds and it’ll chop and then dice nicely. Wait longer and it’ll puree. Add a little fat, like olive oil (there’s a small hole in the top), and it’ll emulsify. It’s powerful enough to whip up small amounts of butter and chop up any nut I tried.
I wish I could tell you more about this charming device, but it just works and costs next to nothing.
